Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to website operators.

This policy explains what cookies PickEm Engagement uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.

2. Cookies We Use

The following table summarizes the cookies used by the PickEm Engagement platform:

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They enable core functionality such as user authentication, session management, and security features. Without these cookies, you cannot sign in or use the platform.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the platform cannot operate without them. They do not require your consent under most privacy regulations (including GDPR and ePrivacy Directive) as they are essential for the service you requested.

  • Supabase authentication cookies — Maintain your signed-in session across page loads. These are HttpOnly cookies that cannot be accessed by JavaScript, providing additional security.

4. Functional Cookies

PickEm Engagement does not currently use functional cookies (e.g., language preferences or UI settings). If we introduce functional cookies in the future, this policy will be updated.

5. Analytics Cookies

PickEm Engagement does not currently use analytics cookies or third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics). If we introduce analytics tracking in the future, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms will be implemented.

6. Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set cookies on your device when you use the platform:

  • Stripe — Our payment processor sets cookies for fraud prevention and to secure payment transactions. These cookies are set when you visit pages with payment forms or complete a purchase. For more information, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — Our authentication and database provider sets cookies to manage your session. For more information, see Supabase's Privacy Policy.

7. Managing Your Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Below are instructions for the most common browsers:

  • Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data. You can block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear cookies on exit.
  • Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Firefox offers Enhanced Tracking Protection which blocks third-party tracking cookies by default.
  • Apple Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Safari blocks third-party cookies by default through Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP).
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data. You can choose between Basic, Balanced, and Strict tracking prevention levels.

Important

If you disable or delete strictly necessary cookies (Supabase authentication cookies), you will be unable to sign in to PickEm Engagement. The platform requires these cookies to function. Blocking third-party cookies may affect payment processing through Stripe.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
